Pusher, a Dallas, Tx native, started his dj path like so many others. Playing more of his early influences, Pusher started out spinning Breaks, I.D.M, and trance, on vinyl. After spending countless nights on the decks, Pusher eventually found his way to dubstep. Shortly after, he joined the dubstep group, Dub Commission, in 2009. This is where he really started pushing the envelope of his unique sound. His sets started to enhance the mind as well as the body. Pusher’s mix’s seemed to make all the various neurons in your brain light up and dance all at once, just as quickly as the feet on the dance floor. While never straying too far from the club bangers (whether electro, breaks, or of course dubstep), most of Pushers trac selections tend to go deep and spacey. At times, he can make you think your whole reality’s has changed or at least your perception on it. As the years go on, Pusher has been blessed to share the stage with acts like Dread Foxx, 6 Blocc, The Jazz Steppa, and many more. He has done so at massive raves to more renowned clubs like Plush. Although, Pusher admits, his favorite moments are shared with the people in unheard of locations. Weather an afterhours club or a field party out in the middle of nowhere, these are the places Pusher does his thing at best. The kind of places, with the kind of people that remind him of just how amazing the journey has been, and how it’s only beginning.
